Cold Hands, Cold Feet

My feet and my hands get cold easily.  Okay, fine.

But I’ve always found it curious that my “mouse hand” gets cold with extended use of and old-school computer mouse.  In college that was my right hand.  My right hand would become icy cold to the touch while my left hand was fine.  After college, I started “mousing” with my left hand that would then get cold after an extended period of time.  It doesn’t happen as much with my laptop mouse touchpad, but on rare occasions it does.

Does that happen to anybody else?  It’s very peculiar.  What causes this?  My hand position?  Pressure points against the surface of the mouse?  Movement of my hand while moving the mouse?  What is it?
